Fresh Salsa Mexicana (Pico de Gallo)
Servings: 4-6


  • 2 plum-type tomatoes, diced
  • 1-3 jalapeno peppers, chopped finely
  • 1/2 c onion, chopped finely
  • 2-4 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • Salt, to taste


Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and let stand for 30 minutes before serving. This salsa may also be stored in the fridge for up to a day.
